The last trip this train made was the day the Henry Ford
Museum opened in 1933, carrying the presidential party,
there are tracks laid, and big great doors that open
allowing there entrance.

"I am collecting the history of our people as written into things their hands made and used.... When we are through, we shall have reproduced American life as lived, and that, I think, is the best way of preserving at least a part of our history and tradition.."
 Henry Ford

P.S. There was a private dinner after the museum closed. We saw them setting up as we were leaving. We went to the camper to make some dinner before hitting the road. As we finished with dinner a black car pulled up outside our door and there was a prompt knock. I opened the door, and stuck my head out smiling. A stout middle aged man proceeded to ask me just what we were doing in the parking lot. His two back up men stood behind him, all of them dressed in suits, with ear pieces., I answered, "We went to the museum today, just had dinner, and we will be leaving shortly." With no expression he said, "O.K., we are having a private dinner here tonight and were concerned with your presence." I told him that we had seen them setting up, for the dinner, earlier today," but I stopped there when I realized they weren't going to give me any information on who might be dinning. The three men got back in their car, I turned around wide mouthed to Chris, and said, "Look, look, at their car, I think I just talked to secret service."
