Every bowling ally we have passed in a small town I have heard the words..."Can we stop and bowl"? I am happy we waited for Pierre, this place was nice, and deceptive from the outside. If you didn't know this, Chris is an exceptionally well-inept bowler (words of Chris), and I must say I bowled the best two games of my life. I was surprised, Chris was surprised...and I WON...Chris lost...depending on how you look at it...we both look at it in a different way. There was only one other group of people and after our 2 games of bowling next to them they befriended us. Meeting locals is the way to find out about where you are and what it's really like to live in the area you are visiting. This is why we get off of hwy90 (now that we are west, the major hwy that runs all the way to the Pacific, practical inescapable), drive blue hwys , and visit small towns. Truth be known we look for any way to stay off the interstate, driving all interstate roads blinds you to what lies inside a state or region.
